No more boarding a plane with the nagging feeling that you're playing roulette with your baggage and it may have been inadvertently verted to Azerbaijan.

The Trace Me Luggage Tracker Tag is a lost luggage identification system, protecting the passenger’s identity as well as their possessions.

It can be fastened to any bag or case; it carries no personal information but instead a unique serial number and barcode that enables Airlines, baggage handlers and lost luggage officials to identify your luggage and immediately notify you, via SMS text message and email, of its location and instructions on who to contact to recover your case from anywhere in the world.

New York magazine Budget Travel put the Trace Me service to the test alongside other baggage identifiers.

Luggage was labelled using the tags then deliberately ‘lost’ by each of the testers by being left in aeroplane overhead lockers in various locations. Based on Budget Travel’s findings they selected Trace Me as their top choice.
