From time to time we find caring people taking care of lost and abandoned animals, looking for shelter. It's these people that volunteer their time to care for others that we should give thanks to. One day these people might help you.
The holiday season is a happy time for most, but it's usually the busiest time for groups like The Humane Society, as they assist with unwanted animals received as gifts.
If you see anything or hear of anyone that doesn't want their pet, do the right thing and contact the Humane Society.
Also, if you have some spare time (or spare money), why not become a volunteer or give a donation over the holiday season? Giving back is always a good thing!
